About the Role:

Jaypee India Limited is seeking a skilled and experienced Messer Plasma Cutter Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our Messer plasma cutting machinery to produce high-quality metal components according to precise engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate Messer plasma cutting machines for various metal profiles and plates.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to determine cutting parameters.
Select appropriate settings and tools for different materials (e.g., mild steel, stainless steel) and thicknesses.
Perform routine machine maintenance, including inspecting and replacing consumables like nozzles and electrodes.
Monitor the cutting process to ensure quality, precision, and adherence to tolerances.
Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
Handle raw materials and finished products safely, using appropriate lifting equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company safety standards.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major faults to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating Messer brand plasma cutting machines is mandatory*.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and geometric dimensions.
Strong understanding of plasma cutting principles, including gas pressures, amperage, and speed settings.
Ability to use standard measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
Physically capable of handling heavy metal sheets and standing for extended periods.
A strong focus on quality, safety, and attention to detail.
