Full Stack Developer (MERN Stack)

About the Role

We're looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with expertise in the MERN stack to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, working on both client-side and server-side development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js Build reusable, efficient, and responsive front-end components using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Develop RESTful APIs and server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js Design and optimize database schemas in MongoDB, ensuring data integrity and performance Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full stack Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Required Qualifications

2+ years of professional experience with the MERN stack Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features Solid understanding of React, including hooks, context API, and state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar) Experience building RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js Proficiency with MongoDB and understanding of NoSQL database design Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git Understanding of responsive design principles and CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, etc.) Experience with modern development tools and workflows (npm/yarn, Webpack, etc.) Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with TypeScript in both frontend and backend development Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Knowledge of microservices architecture Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
