Job Description

We are looking for an experienced MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) Developer to join our team. As a MERN Developer at Traxsmart, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers, product managers, and designers to implement new features and improve existing ones.

Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services for seamless data exchange.

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and consistency.

Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to improve our products and processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in developing full-stack web applications using the MERN stack.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Experience working with RESTful APIs and web services.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Proficiency in front-end technologies (React.js) and back-end frameworks (Node.js, Express.js).

Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

Good understanding of security practices and application performance optimization.

Nice to Have:

Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.

Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience with testing frameworks like Mocha, Chai, Jest, etc.
