What you will do.

1. Acquisition Opportunity Sourcing


Build and maintain a network with investment bankers, boutique advisory firms, and deal intermediaries to source acquisition opportunities aligned with the Group's strategic priorities.

Track and report relevant deal flow across target sectors (Chemicals, Metals, Food Processing, Industrial Goods, etc.).

Maintain a structured

deal pipeline tracker

with status updates and priority ratings.

2. Financial Screening & Preliminary Analysis


Review teasers and pitch decks to assess high-level fit with group strategy.

Conduct preliminary financial analysis, including turnover trends, EBITDA margins, valuation benchmarks, and capital intensity.

Prepare quick screening notes and present to the senior M&A team for go/no-go decisions.

3. Coordination & Information Flow


Serve as the

first point of contact

between the Group and investment bankers/advisors for incoming opportunities.

Ensure all NDAs, company profiles, and basic financial data are received.

4. Market & Sector Intelligence:

Monitor market news, transaction announcements, and valuation trends in target sectors.

5. Reporting & MIS:

Maintain a live MIS for deal pipeline, banker contacts, and engagement status.
Generate fortnightly reports for senior leadership summarising new opportunities, follow-ups, and market movements

What we are looking for.

Education:



o Bachelor's degree in finance, Commerce, Economics, or Business Administration (B.Com, BBA, BA Economics, etc.) (CFA Level 1, CA Inter) will be an added advantage.

Experience:



o E

xperience in finance, M&A support roles.

o Freshers with strong internships in investment banking, corporate finance,

Technical Skills:




o Understanding of financial statements, valuation basics (EBITDA multiples, P/E, DCF), and M&A terminology.

o Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling basics.

o Ability to prepare briefing notes, market scans, and opportunity trackers.
