Merchant Services is the global payment processing business for JPMorgan Wholesale Payments and is the world's leading merchant acquirer with over $1 trillion in annual transaction volume.
The Payment Brands Initiative domain is responsible for the delivery of the most critical core payments implementations within the Acquiring Platforms and Rails organization. The Program, Product, and Delivery managers for the domain are responsible ensuring Merchant Services' (and its clients') compliance with critical network mandates under very tight timelines and multi-million dollar implications in every release.
The Product Manager is responsible for the planning, delivery and execution of changes and providing implementation support to core acquiring product offerings, as required by the Payment Networks, our clients, or internal stakeholders. This position requires an individual who has demonstrable product management and ownership skills, and a proven history of successful product delivery. This Product Manager will work closely in partnership with technology and product managers to research existing functionality, analyze new enhancements, and ultimately deliver changes. The role requires an individual that is comfortable with technology, and is able to effectively liaise between the technology teams, client-facing stakeholders, and the payment networks. The role requires participating in large scale initiatives that delve into researching and remediating issues with data or client setups that drive negative client experiences with their cost of payments.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned Product Manager that has a combination of business and technical skills and the flexibility to pivot between both as audience and needs demand. The candidate must be comfortable defining a client value proposition at the same time as partnering with technology leads to prioritize their backlog. The candidate should be comfortable presenting at senior levels of the organization and possess the ability to articulate concepts and strategic initiatives in a concise, clear & data driven manner while also available to scrum teams to refine epics and ensure that technical requirements are fully understood and delivered.
