Job Summary:

We are looking for a smart, proactive, and hardworking fresher to join our team as a Merchandising Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone who has strong communication skills and is eager to learn about sampling and production coordination in the handicrafts or manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily with the sampling team to ensure timely development and dispatch of product samples. Follow up with the production team to track order status and ensure deadlines are met. Maintain trackers and update internal reports on sampling and production progress. Communicate effectively with internal teams (design, QA, production) for smooth workflow. Assist senior merchandisers in preparing documentation for buyers or internal use. Help in organizing samples, photos, and records for ongoing and upcoming projects. Provide administrative and coordination support for buyer visits, audits, or meetings. Flag delays or quality issues to the relevant teams and follow up until resolved.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any stream (preferably in Fashion, Design, Business, or related field). Good written and verbal communication skills (English & Hindi preferred). Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Email). Hardworking, organized, and eager to learn. Ability to multitask and handle follow-ups consistently. A positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred (but not mandatory):

Internship or academic project experience in merchandising or production. Understanding of sampling, production, or export process in handicrafts/textiles.
Career Growth:

Opportunity to grow into a Merchandiser or Production Executive role within 1-2 years based on performance. Exposure to end-to-end product lifecycle, from sampling to final dispatch. Mentorship from experienced merchandisers and industry professionals.
Work Environment:

Office & workshop/factory coordination as needed. Regular interaction with artisans, sampling, and production teams. [Monday-Saturday workweek or as per company policy.]
