Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

Merchandiser

to join our team in Dhulogarh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for product development, vendor coordination, sampling, and production follow-ups, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with buyers and suppliers to understand product requirements and specifications. Manage sampling process -- from concept to approval -- ensuring buyer satisfaction. Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time deliveries. Conduct quality checks at various stages of production. Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for cost-effective sourcing and timely execution. Analyze market trends and customer preferences to support design and product decisions. Maintain detailed reports of orders, shipments, and inventory. Collaborate closely with the design, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless workflow.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office and merchandising software/tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Designing from

National Institute of Fashion Designing (NIFD)

. Minimum

4 years of experience

in merchandising (preferably in apparel/textile industry). Should be detail-oriented, proactive, and a strong team player.
