Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Merchandiser

to manage the end-to-end coordination of textile exports, from sampling to shipment. The ideal candidate will act as a link between buyers, production teams, and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development:

Collaborate with buyers for new product development, manage sampling, and finalize product specifications.

Order Management:

Handle buyer inquiries, prepare cost sheets, and confirm order details.

Vendor Coordination:

Source fabrics, trims, and accessories, negotiate prices, and manage supplier relationships.

Production Monitoring:

Oversee production timelines, ensure quality standards, and resolve production issues.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct inline and final inspections to meet export quality requirements.

Documentation:

Prepare export documentation, manage LC terms, and coordinate with logistics for timely shipments.

Communication:

Regularly update buyers on production status and resolve any issues promptly.

Market Research:

Stay updated on market trends, fabric innovations, and competitor activities.

Skills Required:

Strong communication and negotiation skills. Understanding of textile fabrics, trims, and garment construction. Knowledge of export procedures and documentation. Time management and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Textile, Fashion, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in textile merchandising, preferably in export houses.
