We are looking to bring in our

first professional hire

to support buying and merchandising decisions.

About the Role

This is a

hands-on, on-ground role

for someone who enjoys

market visits, analysing what sells, and supporting buying decisions

.

You will work closely with senior team members to:

Research trends that work at

mass-market price points

Support purchase decisions Help reduce

overstock and outdated styles

This role starts as

buying support

, with clear growth into a

Merchandiser / Buyer

role over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Track

current and upcoming trends

relevant to mass-market customers Conduct

regular market visits

(Hyderabad + outstation when required) Attend

vendor showrooms and exhibitions

based on buying cycles Study competitors for

pricing, styles, colours, fabrics & sizing

Assist in

purchase planning and execution

across categories Prepare

basic Excel reports

for sell-through, stock movement and observations Help connect

sales data with future buying decisions

Maintain simple

market notes and buying inputs

(no heavy presentations)

Who is this role for

1-2 years of experience in

apparel retail, merchandising, sourcing or buying support

Comfortable working in a

family business environment

Strong

Excel skills

(basic formulas, sorting, stock tracking) Willing and comfortable with

market travel and field work

Commercial mindset -- understands

price sensitivity and fast-moving styles

Curious, observant and willing to learn on the job Combination of

field work + office work

Market travel is

mandatory

and the applicant should be open to it All

travel expenses fully reimbursed
