About the Role

We are looking for an experienced

Merchandiser

with

5-7 years of experience

in the garments/textile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day production follow-up, quality control at all stages, and ensuring smooth communication between production, subcontractors, and customers. You will play a key role in monitoring production progress, addressing potential issues proactively, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality garments.

Responsibilities

Follow up daily on production and conduct quality control at all stages. Prepare weekly production status reports and review them with merchandisers. Inform them in advance of any potential problems or delays. Communicate with merchandisers and subcontractors regarding amendments or changes in the production process. Conduct quality inspections at the fabric stage, initial production, and during the production process. Provide lab dips, lots, and samples to customers for approval in a timely manner. Ensure smooth coordination between production, quality, and merchandising teams to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.

Experience & Qualifications

5-7 years of experience as a Merchandiser in the garments/textile industry. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and garment construction. Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. Ability to prepare and analyze production reports and take corrective actions proactively. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines. Knowledge of lab dips, samples, and approval processes in garment manufacturing.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
