Sourcing, assessing and selecting high-end stones and suppliers, enhancing the effectiveness of purchasing workflow Negotiate with vendors on price, terms and conditions and conclude contracts Responsible for the required training to enhance the skill-set, know-how and expertise of the teammates, if required Review and assess the price, quality, and delivery date of suppliers Monitor the performance of the existing vendors to ensure the quality of the materials Coordinate with management as & when required Coordinate with the inventory department for data management Grading and sorting of Gemstones to determine the price of Sapphires, emeralds, ruby etc. Knowledge of jewelers loop and microscope. Gem & Jewlery course will be an added advantage.
