Job Description

Work closely with clients to understand their product requirements and develop product concepts
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate prices
Manage the product development process, from sampling to production
Ensure products are manufactured to meet quality standards and customer specifications
Collaborate with the production team to ensure products are delivered on time
Monitor and report on sales and production targets
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
WIP management for sampling, record keeping of samples & self-initiated follow ups
CP management for production & record keeping of samples.
Should be able to review bulk fabrics and production samples on his own.
Mail communication with buyer and supplier on daily basis
Ability to generate cost sheet by obtaining fabric/trims costs.
Responsible for approvals of Strike-off, FabricQuality, Fabric Lab Dips, Lots Approval and Technical samples from buyer.
Managing all materials/ approvals are in the place to the PCD.
Ensuring and checks that correct quality is maintained at the sampling stage / bulk stages. Also quality of fabric/trims need to be monitored.
Clarifying all details with buyers with regard to their requirement.
To efficiently make patterns with the help of pattern maker.
Arranging similar fabric as per the buyer requirement/order.
Arranging for trims and accessories in accordance to the orders by placing order for materials, accessories, fabric, thread etc.
Giving costing detailsto buyerssuch as consumption, fabric costs, trim costs and washing cost.
Preparing costing and estimate profiles from each order.
Maintain Cordial relation with all departments.
Strategies innovative ideas to simplify process and make it more efficient.
Generate required MIS reports and the same to the concerned D
