Merchandiser (Product Development & Design) in a Jewellery Manufacturing Unit:

Key Responsibilities:

Product Conceptualization and Design:
Collaborate with designers to develop innovative and trendy jewellery designs that align with market trends and customer preferences.
Research and analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to identify potential opportunities and gaps.
Develop detailed design concepts, sketches, and technical drawings to communicate design ideas clearly to the production team.
Experiment with various materials, gemstones, and techniques to create unique and visually appealing jewellery pieces.
Consider factors like wearability, durability, and cost-effectiveness during the design process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong design skills and a creative eye for aesthetics
In-depth knowledge of jewellery design principles, materials, and techniques
Understanding of the jewellery manufacturing process, including casting, setting, and finishing
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with designers, production teams, and suppliers
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD, 3D modeling)
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality
A passion for the jewellery industry and a desire to stay updated on the latest trends
