Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to manage and optimize the presentation and availability of products across our retail or online platforms. The Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that the right products are in the right place at the right time and in the right quantities to maximize sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers' expectations and company objectives. Analyze sales figures, market trends, and customer behavior to anticipate product needs. Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, and other departments to ensure product availability and effective inventory management. Organize and maintain store displays, signage, and product placement to attract customer interest and boost sales. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with logistics and supply chain to replenish inventory. Conduct regular store visits or site inspections to ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained. Track and report on product performance, promotions, and sell-through rates. Recommend markdowns, stock liquidation, or promotional strategies as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of retail, sales, and marketing principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
