About the Role

Varoin Marwah is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Merchandiser

to manage end-to-end merchandising operations for our designer atelier. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth workflow across production, stock management, vendor coordination, and floor operations.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain stock levels for fabrics, trims, accessories, and finished garments Perform routine stock audits and update inventory systems Track material consumption and manage reorder levels

Production & Time Sheet Management:

Maintain daily time sheets for tailors, masters, and supporting staff Track productivity, assign tasks, and ensure timelines are met Coordinate with the design and production teams for smooth workflow

Floor Management:

Ensure the production floor is organized, efficient, and compliant with workflow processes Support fittings, sample movement, and production scheduling

Reporting & Documentation:

Prepare daily/weekly stock, cost, and production reports Track costs for materials, labor, and outsourced work Maintain clear documentation for all incoming/outgoing materials

Vendor Management & Sourcing:

Source fabrics, trims, packaging, and production essentials from trusted vendors Negotiate pricing, timelines, and quality standards Maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely deliveries

General Merchandising Responsibilities:

Oversee quality control for in-house and outsourced pieces Support in collection planning and sample tracking Assist in ensuring that every garment meets brand standards

Desired Skills & Qualifications

2-5 years experience as a merchandiser in a fashion brand or designer workshop preferably in menswear. Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, and garment construction Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting Ability to multitask and manage fast-paced atelier operations Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
