Role Overview
We are looking for a
hands-on Merchandiser
to manage end-to-end product development and production for our menswear brand. This role involves working closely with
CAD pattern teams, sampling units, and third-party manufacturers
to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective production. You will also handle
sourcing of trims, packaging, and branding materials
, and be responsible for approvals, quality control, and on-time deliveries.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & Sampling
Develop and manage
CAD patterns and spec sheets
for all styles
Coordinate with pattern masters and sampling units for:
sample development
fit samples
size sets
pre-production samples
Track sample timelines and get
brand and buyer approvals
Production Management
Place and follow up on production orders with
third-party units
Monitor production schedules and ensure
on-time deliveries
Coordinate fabric, trims, and accessory in-house availability with production plans
Resolve production issues related to fit, construction, or timelines
Sourcing & Vendor Development
Source and develop:
garment manufacturing units
embroidery / printing units
packaging and branding vendors
Negotiate costs and lead times
Maintain vendor performance and compliance records
Trims, Packaging & Branding
Source and approve:
labels
tags
packaging materials
hangers
polybags
Ensure brand consistency and quality standards
Quality Control
Conduct
in-line and final quality checks
at factories and warehouse
Ensure compliance with:
measurements
construction
finishing
packing standards
Approve bulk before dispatch
Handle rejections, alterations, and rework
Inventory & Delivery Planning
Track
raw material and finished goods inventory
Ensure production is aligned with sales and launch timelines
Plan dispatch schedules and maintain stock readiness
Skills & Requirements
Experience in
menswear merchandising / production
Strong knowledge of:
CAD patterns
spec sheets
sampling processes
garment construction
Experience working with
third-party production units
Ability to travel to factories and vendors
Strong negotiation and coordination skills
Good understanding of quality standards and fit
Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
Mindset
Execution-focused with strong follow-up
Problem solver who can manage multiple styles and timelines
Ownership of product from concept to warehouse
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
