The Merchandiser - Home Category will be responsible for developing, sourcing, and managing the product range within the

Home Decor and Home Textile

categories. This role requires strong coordination with design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely execution, quality assurance, and profitability.

Role Overview:

The Merchandiser - Home Category will be responsible for developing, sourcing, and managing the product range within the

Home Decor and Home Textile

categories. This role requires strong coordination with design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely execution, quality assurance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and develop the home category product range in line with market trends and business strategy. Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for product development and timely delivery. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new trends and product opportunities. Manage pricing, margins, and inventory to optimize sales and profitability. Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure quality and consistency in materials and finishes. Monitor sales performance and suggest product mix adjustments based on data insights. Ensure all merchandise aligns with brand standards and customer expectations. Maintain documentation for purchase orders, approvals, and shipment tracking.

Key Skills:

Strong understanding of

Home Decor, Home Furnishings, and Textiles

. Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills. Good sense of design aesthetics and trend awareness. Analytical mindset with good Excel and merchandising tools proficiency. Strong communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate in Textile, Fashion, or related field.

3-6 years

of experience in merchandising for

Home Decor / Home Textiles / Lifestyle

categories. Experience in export or e-commerce setups will be an added advantage.
