I. Basic Position Information
Position Title: Production Order MerchandiserDepartment: Sales Support Department / Production Management DepartmentII. Responsibilities1. Order Receiving and Confirmation: Receive customer orders from sales personnel, accurately verify order information (product specifications, quantity, delivery date, price, packaging requirements, special customization requests, etc.), and after mutual confirmation with sales and the customer, enter the order into the company's ERP system and establish an order tracking ledger.2. Production Process Follow-up: Liaise with the production department (workshop / planning department) to synchronize order requirements and clarify delivery milestones. Track production progress daily (such as material receipt, production process completion status, and semi-finished product / finished product status). Identify anomalies (such as insufficient production capacity or process issues) promptly and coordinate with sales, production, and technical departments to resolve them and ensure that orders are delivered on time.3. Material Coordination: Collaborate with the procurement department to confirm the arrival of raw and auxiliary materials required for the order, verify that the material specifications and quantities match the order requirements, and assist in expediting or replacing any material shortages or anomalies to avoid disrupting production. 4. Quality and Shipping Management: Follow up on order quality inspection (IQC/OQC). If quality issues arise, coordinate with the QC and production departments to develop corrective plans and provide feedback to the sales and customer. After confirming that the finished product is qualified, liaise with the logistics department (or warehouse) to arrange shipment, prepare shipping documents (delivery note, packing list, certificate of conformity, etc.), and verify logistics information (shipping address, contact person, transportation method) to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.5. Order Archiving and Feedback: After order completion, organize and archive order-related materials (original order, communication records, production/quality inspection/shipping documents). Regularly summarize issues encountered during order follow-up (such as reasons for delivery delays and frequent anomalies) and provide feedback to supervisors to help optimize the order follow-up process.?
III. Job Requirements
Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in order follow-up work at a manufacturing company (such as electronics, machinery, chemicals, and consumer goods). Familiarity with the internal processes of a manufacturing company from "order receipt - production - shipping." Experience with ERP systems is preferred.Required Skills:Communication and Coordination: Ability to clearly connect with multiple departments, including sales, production, procurement, and logistics, and efficiently resolve cross-departmental collaboration issues. Demonstrated customer communication skills (e.g., communicating with customers regarding unusual situations).Detail Control: Sensitive to order information, production schedules, and document data, and the ability to avoid production errors or shipment delays due to information errors or omissions.Stress Tolerance: Ability to simultaneously follow up on multiple orders, handle tight deadlines, and adjust orders at short notice, ensuring a smooth process.Tool Skills: Proficiency in Office software (especially Excel, with a mastery of data entry, ledger statistics, and basic functions such as VLOOKUP and SUM).?
