1. Buyer Communication & Order Management Act as the primary point of contact for buyers. Understand buyer requirements (designs, fabrics, trims, quality, delivery dates). Maintain regular communication and updates with buyers.
2. Order Follow-up & Production Coordination Create time and action (T&A) plans for each order. Track and monitor production status regularly. Coordinate with fabric, trim suppliers, cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, and packing departments.
3. Quality & Compliance Management Ensure buyer quality standards are met for all orders. Arrange quality inspections (inline & final).Ensure compliance with buyer guidelines and certifications.
4. Logistics & Shipment Handling Coordinate with shipping and documentation teams for on-time dispatch. Prepare packing lists, invoices, purchase orders, and shipping documents. Track shipment and provide updates to buyers.
5. Reporting & Documentation Maintain all records related to sampling, costing, order details, approvals, production updates, and shipment. Prepare weekly and monthly order status reports.
Skills Required:
1. Strong oral and written communication (English preferred) and Hindi as well.
2. Knowledge of garment production process preferred (fabric, trims, stitching, washing, finishing)
3. Costing & negotiation skills Time & action plan management Excel, Email, and Documentation skills Problem-solving and coordination ability
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Apparel Merchandising, Textile, or related field 2-3 years experience in garment merchandising Good teamwork & coordination Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
