Role Summary
The Merchandise Manager will lead end-to-end apparel merchandising operations from the factory floor. This role combines hands-on execution with team work, ensuring margin protection, production discipline, and on-time delivery. The position serves as the key operational link between the factory and the corporate merchandising team.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end order execution from order handover to final shipment
Drive T&A planning, production tracking, and proactive risk mitigation
Ensure seamless coordination with corporate office merchandisers
Own margin accountability (GM%) and lead cost engineering initiatives
Control costs through fabric optimization, SMV improvement, and process efficiencies
Act as the primary merchandising interface within the factory
Ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and internal SOPs
Ensure shipment readiness and execution accuracy
Provide regular, data-driven updates to Business Head & COO
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in apparel merchandising
Deep understanding of factory operations and production planning
Proven experience in margin management and cost engineering
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Technology / Apparel / Textile or equivalent
10-15 years of relevant merchandising experience
Prior experience managing teams
