Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

MEP Tendering Engineer

to join our dynamic interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) aspects of the tendering process--from cost estimation and BOQ preparation to coordination with suppliers and ensuring timely submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to prepare accurate MEP estimations. Prepare and review

BOQs

,

RFQs

, and

technical submissions

in coordination with the design and commercial teams. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and technical data. Perform

value engineering

to meet budget constraints without compromising quality. Coordinate with the interior design and civil teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP works. Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings, clarifications, and site visits as needed. Prepare cost comparisons and support the commercial team in finalizing tenders. Monitor market rates and trends for MEP materials and services.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum

3 years of relevant experience

in MEP estimation/tendering, especially in the

interior fit-out sector

. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and ELV systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software (e.g., CCS Candy, Bluebeam). Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
