Job Description

Supervision and Coordination:

Directly supervise MEP teams, including electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians. Coordinate MEP work with other trades on the project (e.g., construction, architectural). Schedule and assign tasks to team members.

Quality Control and Compliance:

Ensure all MEP work is performed to the required quality standards and specifications. Verify compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress and identify any issues.

Resource Management:

Manage materials, tools, and equipment needed for MEP work. Track inventory and order supplies as needed. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and troubleshoot MEP system malfunctions and failures. Develop and implement solutions to resolve issues efficiently. Provide technical guidance to team members on complex problems.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Prepare reports on project progress, resource utilization, and any encountered issues. Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Safety Management:

Enforce safety procedures and regulations on the job site. Promote a safe working environment for all team members. Conduct safety briefings and training sessions.

Training and Development:

Mentor and train junior staff members. Provide guidance and support to team members on technical skills and safety practices.
