Summary




The MEP Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) is responsible for managing all cost and contract aspects related to MEP works throughout the project lifecycle -- from initial estimation to final account closure. The role involves preparing BOQs, cost estimates, tender documents, and conducting value engineering to ensure cost efficiency without compromising quality or design intent.



Key Responsibilities:



Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for MEP services. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and design changes to assess cost impacts. Manage tendering processes, evaluate contractor bids, and assist in contract negotiations. Monitor project expenditures and prepare periodic cost reports. Review and certify contractor progress claims, variations, and final accounts. Coordinate with design, planning, and execution teams to ensure cost control and timely delivery. Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize MEP costs and efficiency. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company and project procedures.

About You:



B.E BE Electrical/Mech with 8 to 10 years of experience particularly in warehouse / industrial projects. Experience in Residential/Commercial/Hospital/Industrial Projects 4-5 Years for Engineer/6-7 Years for S. Engineer/8-10 Years for AM and 10 + for the Manager Role Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works Excellent organizational and motivational skills Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities , Good in English communication
