. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing MEP installations with a strong emphasis on fast-track interiors, user-centric design, and smart systems integration.
This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and field experience, particularly in
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and ELV systems
tailored for modern workspaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise
the execution of MEP works for commercial interiors and coworking space fit-outs.
Review and coordinate
MEP drawings with architectural and ID layouts to ensure conflict-free installations.
Ensure efficient integration of
flexible HVAC, lighting, access control, and data cabling
systems suited for dynamic workspace layouts.
Coordinate with
designers, consultants, general contractors, and specialty subcontractors
to deliver MEP works aligned with timelines and specifications.
Monitor on-site installation of
air conditioning, electrical panels, plumbing, fire alarms, sprinklers, and IT/data systems
.
Support project teams during
testing, commissioning, and handover
with detailed documentation and training.
Ensure
compliance with building codes, authority approvals, and sustainability requirements
(e.g., LEED, local regulations).
Participate in
value engineering exercises
, material selections, and vendor evaluations for optimized MEP solutions.
Prepare
daily site reports, inspection requests, snag lists
, and assist with project closeout activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
.
Minimum
6 years of experience
in MEP project execution, preferably including
2+ years in interior fit-outs or coworking environments
.
Knowledge of
modular MEP systems
,
open ceiling designs
,
suspended services
, and
smart workspace solutions
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Project, and MS Excel
.
Familiar with local authority standards and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, etc.).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with
fast-track interior projects

Exposure to
BMS, access control, lighting automation, and acoustic HVAC design
.
Working knowledge of
green building certifications
(LEED, WELL) is an advantage.
Ability to interpret and adapt to
frequent design changes
