Job Description

Role Purpose:

To develop, monitor, and control project schedules for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works across various sectors, ensuring timely completion in line with project milestones and contractual requirements, using advanced planning tools such as

Primavera P6

or

MS Project (MSP).

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Scheduling

Develop baseline schedules for MEP works in coordination with project managers. Integrate MEP schedules with overall project schedules for building, data centre, commercial, and industrial projects. Identify critical paths, milestones, and resource requirements. Prepare resource histograms (manpower, materials, equipment) for MEP works. Work with cost control teams to integrate cost loading and cash flow forecasts into schedules.

Progress Monitoring

Track progress against baseline and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports. Conduct variance analysis (planned vs. actual) and highlight delays or risks. Update schedules regularly and coordinate with site teams to incorporate real-time progress.

Coordination & Interface Management

Liaise with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure MEP activities are properly sequenced and planned. Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to avoid interface clashes. Support project managers in planning mitigation measures for delays.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of

MEP systems

(HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection). Hands
on expertise in

Primavera P6

and/or

Microsoft Project

. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Education & Experience:

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

(or equivalent). 6-10 years of experience in

MEP planning

for large-scale

building, data center, commercial, or industrial projects

. Exposure to

EPC/turnkey projects

is an added advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
