Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically sound Senior MEP T&C Resource-Data Centre-Greenfieldto lead and execute detailed inspections, design validations, and audits of mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Utilities commissioning and testing in greenfield/ complex data centre projects. It also involves FAT (Factory acceptance testing ) and SAT (Site acceptance Testing) of utilities. Preparation and validation of project quality plan and inspection test plan of functional testing. This role demands technical leadership, stakeholder coordination, and mentoring of junior engineers, ensuring full compliance with statutory codes and client standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical inspections of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, BMS and Utility systems commissioning and testing across all stages of site material acceptance, installation,
• Validate site installations with approved GFC/shop drawings, technical specifications, and applicable codes (NBC, IS, NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC).
• Review design documentation, identify constructability challenges, and assist in value engineering suggestions.
• Supervise and technically guide a team of MEP inspectors across multiple sites.
• Witness testing and commissioning witness activities: IR testing, functional testing, loop checks, harmonics study, Lightning arrester system, Earthing, switchgear, UPS systems, DG sets, CRAC units, and fire suppression systems (VESDA, FM200, etc.) all functional testing of data centre utilities
• Collaborate with OEMs and specialist vendors for equipment commissioning and integration
• Audit compliance with energy standards, low-voltage lighting controls, and HVAC system efficiency.
• Conduct failure investigations, root cause analyses, and develop technical reports with remedial measures.
• Review as-built documentation, interface drawings, BMS integration layouts, and O&M submittals.
• Ensure coordination of MEP systems with architectural and civil works, including shaft planning and equipment accessibility.
• Coordinate daily site activities for MEP works including HVAC, LV/MV electrical systems, fire protection, and plumbing systems
• Maintain daily site progress reports and highlight potential issues or delays
• Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors for quality discussions, issue resolution, and handover documentation.
• Lead periodic training sessions and knowledge sharing for junior team members.
• Carry out testing and commissioning from L1 to L5 as per client protocol
• Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) including Black Building Test, Functional Testing, and Endurance Testing

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 15+ years of MEPF inspection, site supervision, or third-party QA/QC experience.
• Sound technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems (HT/LT), fire suppression, water supply, and drainage systems.
• Proficient in national and international codes: IS, NBC, IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Excel, BMS platforms, and quality audit tools.
• Excellent reporting, communication, and project coordination skills.

Experience with Green Building systems (LEED, IGBC) is an added advantage
