Job Description

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing MEP drawings, conducting site studies, performing rate analysis, and carrying out market and site analysis to support project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, read, and interpret

MEP drawings

(Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting). Study and review

design drawings, BOQs, and specifications

as per project requirements. Conduct

site surveys and site analysis

to understand existing conditions and constraints. Coordinate with civil, architectural, and interior teams for integrated project execution. Carry out

rate analysis

for MEP works, materials, and services. Perform

market study

for materials, vendors, and prevailing rates. Prepare

cost estimates, BOQs, and tender-related documentation

. Monitor MEP work execution at site and ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards. Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions and suggest solutions. Support project planning, budgeting, and value engineering exercises. Maintain proper documentation, reports, and site records.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Ability to

read and prepare MEP drawings

. Good understanding of

MEP systems, materials, and installation practices

. Knowledge of

rate analysis and cost estimation

. Familiarity with

market rates and vendor evaluation

. Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills. Basic knowledge of relevant

codes and standards

. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(MEP drawings); MS Excel for analysis.

Qualifications:

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

or relevant field. Experience in MEP works for commercial, residential, or institutional projects (preferred).

Experience Level:

2-5 years (can be adjusted as per requirement)

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
