Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Diploma



The MEP Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, execution, and maintenance of

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems in building or infrastructure projects. The role

involves ensuring that all MEP systems are designed and implemented efficiently, comply

with local codes and standards, and meet the project's cost, quality, and timeline

requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Planning

? Review and interpret MEP design drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

? Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and consultants to integrate MEP systems

into overall building design.

? Assist in developing detailed MEP shop drawings and ensure they comply with

standards (e.g., IS codes, NBC, ASHRAE).

? Conduct load calculations (HVAC, electrical, water, etc.) using relevant software.

Project Execution

? Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical

panels, lighting, firefighting, water supply, drainage, etc.).

? Monitor contractor work for quality and adherence to approved drawings and

specifications.

? Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues.

? Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and update project schedules.

Procurement & Cost Control

? Assist in preparing MEP material specifications and quantity estimates.

? Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and support procurement.

? Ensure materials used are as per approved makes and technical standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹850,000.00 per year
