Ensure MEP systems align with
project requirements, local codes, and statutory norms
Participate in value engineering to optimize cost and performance
Execution & Site Management
Oversee execution of MEP works at site as per approved drawings and schedules
Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other trades to avoid clashes and delays
Monitor installation of HVAC, electrical systems, fire-fighting, plumbing, ELV, and BMS
Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to
quality standards, safety norms, and company guidelines
Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and snag resolution
Ensure statutory approvals and compliance with authorities (fire, electrical, etc.)
Cost & Vendor Management
Assist in
budgeting, BOQs, tendering, and vendor evaluation
Manage contractors, suppliers, and consultants for MEP works
Monitor costs, variations, and certifications to control project expenses
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
Plan and supervise testing and commissioning of all MEP systems
Ensure timely handover of systems with complete documentation, manuals, and as-built drawings
Support facilities / operations teams during project handover
Coordination & Reporting
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external agencies
Prepare progress reports, MIS, and technical documentation
Attend project review meetings and highlight risks/issues proactively
Other Responsibilities
Support cross-functional activities and inter-department coordination as required
Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by management from time to time
Adhere to company's code of conduct, operational procedures, and safety policies
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in
Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
(or relevant discipline)
Certification in HVAC / Electrical systems (preferred)
Experience
3-5 years
(Engineer) |
6-10+ years
(Manager) in real estate / construction projects
Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments preferred
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of
HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV systems
Project coordination and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of local building codes and statutory requirements
Vendor and contractor management
MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools
