Job Summary
We are seeking a competent
MEP Engineer
to coordinate and monitor Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works under a construction management model. The role involves site coordination, quality monitoring, contractor supervision, and support in planning and execution to ensure MEP systems are delivered on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
MEP Coordination & Execution
Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, and BOQs for accuracy and coordination with civil and architectural works.
Coordinate MEP activities with site engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution.
Monitor day-to-day MEP works at site and ensure adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
Assist in planning and sequencing MEP activities in line with the overall construction schedule.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Ensure MEP works comply with NBC, IS Codes, safety standards, and project quality requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and support QA/QC checks and documentation.
Report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure safe working practices during MEP installations.
Materials, Testing & Handover
Coordinate material approvals, inspections, and proper storage of MEP materials.
Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
Support snag identification, rectification, and final handover documentation.
Reporting & Support
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and assist in project MIS.
Support coordination meetings and technical discussions.
Assist in resolving site-level technical issues and clashes.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
3-6 years of experience in MEP works for residential or commercial building projects.
Working knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
Familiarity with AutoCAD; basic knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
Understanding of site execution, quality control, and safety practices.
Work experience in Project Management Consulting firm adds advantage
Desirable Skills
Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to testing & commissioning of MEP systems.
Ability to work in a construction management environment with multiple stakeholders.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹420,000.00 - ₹540,000.00 per year
