Baashyaam Group is looking for an experienced

MEP Engineer - Plumbing

to handle plumbing design, execution, coordination, and site management for residential and commercial construction projects in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute

plumbing works

including water supply, drainage, sewer, rainwater, STP, and fire-fighting related plumbing. Study and interpret

plumbing drawings, layouts, and BOQs

. Coordinate with

civil, electrical, and other MEP teams

for smooth project execution. Ensure plumbing installations are carried out as per

approved drawings, specifications, and standards

. Monitor

site progress

, material usage, and workmanship quality. Coordinate with

contractors, vendors, and suppliers

for plumbing materials and execution. Conduct

testing & commissioning

of plumbing systems. Ensure compliance with

safety, quality, and local authority norms

. Prepare

daily/weekly progress reports

and attend site review meetings. Handle

snag lists, rectifications, and handover documentation

.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of

plumbing systems

, fittings, and materials. Experience in

high-rise residential / commercial projects

preferred. Good understanding of

IS codes, local authority norms, and plumbing standards

. Ability to read

AutoCAD drawings

(basic level required). Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Site execution and manpower handling experience.

Qualification:

Diploma / BE / BTech

in Mechanical / Civil / related field. Relevant certification in MEP will be an added advantage.
