Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Planning:

Review and interpret architectural and engineering plans, schematic diagrams, and specifications. Develop detailed MEP system designs using CAD/Revit/BIM software. Coordinate MEP systems with architectural and structural elements.

Project Management:

Supervise and inspect the installation of MEP systems on-site. Ensure that contractors' work aligns with design, safety, and quality standards. Monitor project schedules and budgets related to MEP works.

Technical Oversight:

Perform load calculations, sizing of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Select appropriate equipment and materials according to project needs and standards. Conduct risk assessments and resolve technical issues on-site.

Coordination & Communication:

Liaise with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure MEP system compatibility. Lead MEP coordination meetings with contractors and subcontractors. Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure all MEP systems comply with local codes, regulations, and sustainability standards. Maintain accurate records, drawings, manuals, and inspection logs. Support commissioning and testing of MEP systems.

Requirements:

? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field)
? Proven experience in MEP design and coordination (3-5 years preferred)
? Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other MEP design software
? Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations
? Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
