Job Description

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, coordination, and monitoring of

Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP)

works at site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, safety norms, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

MEP Execution & Coordination





Execute and supervise

Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, HVAC & ELV systems

at site Coordinate with

civil, finishing, and structural teams

to avoid clashes Ensure work execution as per approved

drawings, BOQs & specifications


Electrical Systems





Supervise HT/LT works, transformers, DG sets, panels, cabling & earthing Monitor testing & commissioning of electrical systems

Plumbing & Fire Fighting





Oversee water supply, drainage, STP, rainwater harvesting systems Supervise fire fighting systems including hydrants, sprinklers & pumps Ensure compliance with

fire safety norms and approvals


HVAC & ELV





Monitor installation of HVAC systems (VRV, split, ducting if applicable) Supervise ELV systems like

CCTV, access control, intercom & fire alarm


Quality, Safety & Compliance





Ensure quality checks and site inspections for all MEP activities Follow safety standards and site safety protocols Coordinate with consultants and third-party inspectors

Billing & Documentation





Verify contractor bills and measurement sheets Maintain daily progress reports, checklists, and as-built drawings Assist in material planning and coordination with store/purchase team

Requirements



Key Skills & Competencies





Strong knowledge of

MEP services in residential/high-rise projects

Ability to read and interpret

MEP drawings

Vendor & contractor coordination skills Basic understanding of

billing, BOQs & measurements

Problem-solving and site-handling ability Good communication and teamwork skills

Qualification



Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering

Relevant site experience in

builder/developer projects preferred


Preferred Candidate Profile





Experience in

residential or high-rise projects

Hands-on site exposure (not purely design role) Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred Two-wheeler / four-wheeler will be an added advantage
