Afita Construction is seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Engineer to manage and supervise Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works across our construction projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in site execution, coordination, and quality control as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and execute MEP works at project sites in line with approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other project teams to ensure smooth execution.
Review MEP drawings, layouts, and shop drawings for accuracy and feasibility.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality norms, and project timelines.
Monitor subcontractors and vendors for MEP-related works and materials.
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and assist in project documentation.
Resolve site-related technical issues related to MEP works.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in MEP works within construction projects.
Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire-fighting systems, and local codes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working on projects similar to Afita Construction's scope is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects.
Familiarity with site execution, quality checks, and contractor coordination.
Work Location
As per project site requirements.
