Strike Rate of Bids Submitted Software Skills Required: Awareness of HAP (Hourly Analysis Program) for
HVAC and Calnut & FHC (Fluid Hydraulic Calculation) for Fire-fighting equipment for reviewing purposes
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination with multi-disciplines (Civil, Structural, Electrical) for understanding and communicating of requirements of client and providing clarifications
Undertaking Detailed Heat Load calculations and Reviewing of designs, calculations & drawings (as submitted by Draughtsperson) and ensuring their timely submissions after obtaining approvals from customer
o Clarification of issues w.r.t. vendors and ensuring timely delivery of materials at project site o Enabling & reviewing of accurate estimation in terms of quantity for submission of Bill of Materials
Reviewing of critical issues and procedural delays w.r.t. design aspects of equipment and extending support to Site Execution teams
Settling procurement issues and extending support to Supply Chain management for ensuring order finalization for Vendor Engineering
Extending support for BOQ, review of pre-bid offers and technical submissions & providing post-tender clarifications (after clarification from vendors) to the contracts team
Reviewing of Vendor evaluation (w.r.t. technical specification requirement of the client)
Responsible for ensuring Manufacturing Clearance by undertaking and facilitating necessary communication with suppliers
Communicating & clarifying deliverable list from the client and obtaining resource requirement for project
Inspection of HVAC & Fire-fighting equipment of Substation
Qualifications
Education : B.E. / B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum Qualification : 6-10 years. Predominantly in Mechanical Engineering aspects of Power transmission industry (Preference) and Considerable experience in leading and executing projects (2 - 3 projects)
