MEP Engineer (Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

Design, plan and execute

Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting and Utility systems

for projects. Review

MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, technical data sheets

, and ensure compliance with project standards. Coordinate with

civil, electrical and piping teams

for smooth integration of all services. Perform

load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, pump head calculations

using engineering tools/software. Prepare

installation method statements, technical submissions

and shop drawings. Monitor site execution of mechanical systems including: HVAC (AHU, VRF, Chillers, Ducting) Plumbing (Water supply, Drainage) Firefighting (Sprinklers, Hydrants, Pumps) Utility Piping (Compressed air, process lines) Ensure all work meets

safety standards

and

quality norms

. Conduct

site inspections

, testing & commissioning of MEP systems. Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers for technical clarifications. Prepare progress reports and support project handover documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering

. Minimum

2-8 years

of experience in MEP mechanical systems. Strong knowledge of: HVAC systems Plumbing & sanitary systems Firefighting systems Mechanical utilities Ability to read and interpret

MEP drawings

(AutoCAD/Revit knowledge preferred). Familiarity with

ASHRAE, NFPA, NBC and local codes

. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage site activities and handle multiple contractors. Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software (HAP/Carrier, PipeFlow, etc. preferred).

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per year
