Job Title: MEP Engineer.Location: BangaloreJob Type: Full Time.Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated MEP Engineer with hands-on experience in Facilities Management and Project Execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems within our facilities while also overseeing various electrical projects. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of electrical systems in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:1. MEP System Design and Maintenance:xc3xbc Design and implement MEP systems for new and existing buildings, ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards.xc3xbc Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment across the facility.xc3xbc Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, lighting, and backup power systems.2. Project Management:xc3xbc Lead and manage MEP projects from concept to completion, including planning, design, procurement, and execution.xc3xbc Coordinate with Consultants, Project managers, Contractors, and Vendors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budgets and quality standards.xc3xbc Prepare and review project plans, timelines, and cost estimates to ensure alignment with company goals.xc3xbc Oversee commissioning, testing, and start-up activities to ensure all electrical systems operate as intended.3. Safety and Compliance:xc3xbc Ensure all electrical systems meet local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.xc3xbc Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.xc3xbc Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for hazard mitigation to ensure a safe working environment.4. Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:xc3xbc Recommend and implement energy-saving solutions and upgrades to improve facility efficiency.xc3xbc Monitor and analyse electrical consumption data to identify areas for improvement.xc3xbc Work towards sustainable energy solutions that reduce environmental impact.5. Collaboration and Teamwork:xc3xbc Collaborate with other engineering teams, maintenance staff, and external contractors to execute electrical system installations and upgrades.xc3xbc Provide technical guidance and support to facility staff and ensure efficient operation of electrical systems.xc3xbc Participate in design reviews, meetings, and presentations as required by the project team or senior management.6. Documentation and Reporting:xc3xbc Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and modifications.xc3xbc Prepare regular reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and project progress.xc3xbc Ensure proper documentation for all electrical designs and changes to comply with company and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:xc3xbc Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with an experience of 5-7 years or with a completion of Diploma Engineering with an experience of 10 12 Years in electrical engineering discipline, with a focus on both facility maintenance and project execution.xc3xbc Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems, Plumbing, and HVACxc3xbc Hands-on experience with electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting in commercial, industrial, or other facilities.xc3xbc Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, or similar).xc3xbc Experience in managing electrical projects, including budget and resource management.xc3xbc Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes and standards.xc3xbc Familiarity with energy efficiency, sustainability practices, and renewable energy systems.xc3xbc Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.xc3xbc Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.xc3xbc Ability to work independently and as part of a team.If the above JD seems suitable, kindly share the resumes to this mail ID: lakshmi.priya@cielhr.com
