Mousher Builders is looking for a skilled and experienced

MEP Draftsman / Draftswoman

to join our construction design team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings and layouts based on project specifications and coordination with engineering and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Drawing Preparation:

Develop detailed MEP shop drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, etc.) using AutoCAD and related drafting software. Create coordinated MEP drawings to avoid clashes and ensure smooth site execution.

Coordination:

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to incorporate MEP requirements into overall project drawings. Review and modify drawings as per design changes or site conditions.

Site Support:

Provide support to project and site teams by supplying accurate MEP drawings and resolving drawing-related queries. Participate in site visits or inspections to verify drawing accuracy.

Documentation:

Maintain an organized system for drawing documentation, revisions, and version control. Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.

Compliance:

Ensure all MEP drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and project standards. Follow internal quality control procedures and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Diploma or certification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Drafting. Minimum [2-5] years of experience in MEP drafting within the construction industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM tools is a strong advantage. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems. Ability to interpret MEP specifications, BOQs, and construction drawings. Good communication and team coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects. Familiarity with local building codes and international MEP standards. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.

20,000.00 per month
