Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

MEP Draftsman (Electrical)

with strong expertise in preparing detailed electrical drawings and layouts for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MEP coordination and drafting in AutoCAD/Revit, and the ability to translate design concepts into precise technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop

electrical layouts

, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and circuiting details for industrial projects. Coordinate with

MEP teams

(Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) to ensure clash-free, accurate drawings. Create and update

as-built drawings

as per site modifications. Assist design engineers in producing

shop drawings, schematic diagrams

, and

panel schedules

. Ensure all drawings comply with

project specifications, standards, and safety regulations

. Maintain drawing documentation and version control in accordance with company procedures. Work closely with site engineers and consultants to resolve drawing-related issues.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of

AutoCAD

(mandatory);

Revit MEP

experience preferred. Understanding of

electrical systems

-- lighting, power, earthing, cabling, and containment. Familiarity with

industrial and commercial project standards

. Ability to interpret design intent and work under minimal supervision. Good coordination and communication skills.

Qualifications:

Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). 5-7 years of relevant experience in

MEP drafting for industrial projects
