to lead the design, coordination, and implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role involves delivering compliant, clash-free, and optimized MEP designs using BIM tools while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
MEP Design & Engineering
Develop detailed MEP system designs (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) in compliance with local and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IS, BS, NEC, etc.).
Prepare design calculations, schematics, layouts, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure seamless MEP integration.
BIM & Digital Delivery
Create and manage MEP BIM models using
Revit MEP
, Navisworks, and related tools.
Perform
clash detection
, coordination reviews, and model optimization.
Ensure compliance with
LOD requirements
, BIM Execution Plans (BEP), and project standards.
Generate accurate BOQs, quantity take-offs, and construction documentation from BIM models.
Coordination & Project Support
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and consultants.
Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve technical issues.
Support construction teams with shop drawings, RFIs, and site queries.
Review vendor submittals and material specifications.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure designs meet safety, sustainability, and energy-efficiency requirements.
Conduct design reviews and implement value engineering proposals.
Maintain proper documentation and version control.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree
in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
8-10 years
of experience in MEP design and coordination.
Strong proficiency in
Revit MEP
, AutoCAD, Navisworks (BIM 360 is a plus).
Hands-on experience with
BIM-based MEP coordination
.
Solid understanding of international MEP standards and codes.
Experience in residential, commercial, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Exposure to
ISO 19650 / OpenBIM workflows
