Role Overview
The Design Engineer (MEP) will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings, BIM models, and coordination layouts for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. The role demands strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, along with a solid understanding of MEP design principles and construction workflows.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for MEP systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Prepare HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire?fighting layouts, sections, schematics, and equipment details.
- Coordinate with architects, structural teams, and site engineers to ensure clash?free and accurate MEP designs.
- Update drawings based on design revisions, site conditions, and client feedback.
- Perform MEP coordination within Revit, including clash detection and model integration.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, material take?offs, and technical documentation.
- Maintain organized drawing records, version control, and BIM documentation.
- Support the engineering team in design calculations (duct sizing, cable sizing, pipe sizing, etc.) when required.
