We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering and preferably 2 to 3 years of experience in drafting for MEP systems..
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed MEP drawings and layouts based on project specifications and engineering requirements.
Use AutoCAD and other design software to create accurate, clear, and detailed drawings.
Assist in the development of system design and layout for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure design accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Review project drawings and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Assist in coordination between various disciplines (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) to resolve design conflicts.
Maintain and update project drawings as per site changes and feedback.
Ensure that all drafts meet company standards and project requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering.
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience in MEP drafting.
Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting/design software.
Basic understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
oGood communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of local building codes and standards is a plus.
Familiarity with AutoCad.
