Position Summary

The

MEP Lead

will play a pivotal role in the engineering and design of

Electrical and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems

, as well as

public health systems

, with opportunities for skill enhancement in the latter. This role requires close coordination with

HVAC and Fire Protection consultants

to ensure seamless system integration. The incumbent will be responsible for managing onsite teams for the submission of

Level of Development (LOD) 500 construction drawings

and obtaining client approvals for

MEP designs

and

material procurement

.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering

Lead the

design and engineering

of

electrical and ELV systems

, possessing a minimum of

five years of design experience

and

five years of onsite experience

. Engineer

public health systems

, with support provided for skill enhancement.

Coordination

Collaborate with

HVAC and Fire Protection system consultants

to ensure cohesive system integration. Coordinate with

onsite teams

to facilitate the timely submission of

LOD 500 construction drawings

.

Approval Processes

Manage the approval process for

MEP drawings

and

design basis reports

in coordination with clients. Oversee the preparation and approval of

onsite MEP material procurement lists

before placing orders.

Onsite Support

Address onsite challenges related to

MEP installations

, ensuring compliance with

safety standards

and

project specifications

. Conduct

site inspections

to verify adherence to design criteria and quality assurance requirements.

Team Leadership

Mentor

junior engineers

and provide technical guidance on

MEP systems

. Foster a

collaborative environment

that encourages

innovation

and

efficiency

within the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

in

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

or a related field. Minimum of

ten years of experience

in

MEP design and coordination

, including significant onsite experience. Comprehensive knowledge of

industry standards, codes, and best practices

in

MEP systems

.

Skills

Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, BIM (Building Information Modeling),

and other relevant design software. Excellent

communication skills

for effective collaboration with

clients, consultants, and team members

. Strong

problem-solving abilities

with a

proactive approach

to challenges.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?453,726.20 - ?1,444,038.02 per year
