We are seeking a talented and experienced MEP Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills in English, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves working closely with architects, consultants, and project teams to deliver efficient and code-compliant MEP designs.
Responsibilities
Prepare and develop MEP design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services.
Ensure all MEP designs comply with local building codes, standards, and project requirements.
Coordinate with structural, architectural, and other engineering disciplines.
Review and interpret MEP specifications, technical drawings, and contract documents.
Participate in design meetings, site visits, and inspections as required.
Prepare BOQs, technical reports, and design documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in MEP design in consultancy or contracting firms.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Strong knowledge of MEP systems design principles and applications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other design software.
