Job Description

We are looking for Electrical Engineers to design roles for projects in the Electrical Infrastructure design (LV/HV/EHV) and Substations primarily in India and SAARC countries. This is a great opportunity for a suitably qualified person with an engineering consultancy or Pharma/R&D sector background to gain further experience within an internationally renowned turnkey lab solution.
This role is to work as part of a team to support the delivery of projects. This role will be working under the supervision of a project manager
To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Calculation of Power demand as per industrial benchmarking
• Preparation of Single line Diagrams (SLD)
• Preparation of Substation General arrangement drawing equipment layout for Substations both AIS and GIS
• Design and preparation of BOQ for complete ELV package including, ACS, FAS, PAS, CCTV, passive and Active Network.
• Transformer sizing, cable sizing, breaker sizing, capacitor bank sizing for MV and LV system
• LV and MV cable routing
• Lightning protection and earthing design for substations and buildings.
• Lighting calculation, small power design, cable racking, installation details for the Electrical services.
• Cable racking design.
• AC/DC schematic preparation for substation.
• Clash detection and co-ordination with other Utilities
• Experience in preparation of Basis of design, design report for the projects.
• Detailed knowledge of power equipment such as switchgear, protective relays, breakers, transformers, motors, and generators is required.
• Preliminary concept layout and design capability before detailed design engineering.
• Assisting in conducting fieldwork and at times taking the lead in this effort.
• Attending design meetings with the client and issuing minutes when the project manager cannot attend or accompany the project manager to meetings.
• Organising and directing frequent in-house meetings under the direction of the project manager.
• Providing input to the project manager in regard to scheduling personnel.
• Working with the project manager/MEP in charge of the preparation of detailed personnel loading by task interfaced with the detailed schedule.
• Assisting in the preparation of storyboards and detailed project timelines.

Assisting in the coordination of all the disciplines involved - interface with LV/HV, all other services (civil, mechanical, and plumbing)
