Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Senior Engineer

specializing in

Cost & Contracts

for MEP services. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in

project execution

,

quantity surveying

, and

tendering

, with deep market knowledge of MEP materials and vendor networks.

Key Responsibilities

Cost & Contracts Management

Prepare and review cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for MEP projects. Analyze vendor quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle, identifying savings and value engineering opportunities.

Project Execution & Quantity Surveying

Minimum

3 years of hands-on execution experience

in MEP/electrical projects. At least

1 year of Quantity Surveying

experience, including measurement verification and billing. Conduct

site visits prior to tender submission

to assess scope, feasibility, and costing.

Vendor & Market Engagement

Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers across all major MEP brands and materials. Stay updated on market rates, product availability, and alternate specifications.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare cost comparison sheets, contract summaries, and negotiation notes. Support senior management in client/vendor meetings and commercial discussions.

Skills & Competencies

Strong proficiency in

MS Excel

for costing, analysis, and reporting. Excellent communication skills in

English and local languages

(Kannada/Tamil preferred). Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Confident in attending

negotiation meetings

and presenting cost insights.

Preferred Background

Prior experience with

MEP contractors

,

electrical contracting firms

, or

construction companies

. Exposure to both

site-level execution

and

office-based tendering/contracts

functions.
