Position: MEP Coordinator

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator to manage and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and allied services at site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination between consultants, contractors, and clients to achieve timely, cost-effective, and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate MEP works (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, ELV) with civil, structural, and architectural teams

Review and coordinate MEP drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and specifications

Ensure clash-free coordination using coordinated drawings / BIM (if applicable)

Monitor site execution to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and standards

Attend coordination meetings with consultants, clients, and contractors

Identify and resolve site issues, discrepancies, and design conflicts

Review material submittals, method statements, and technical data sheets

Support planning, sequencing, and execution of MEP activities as per project schedule

Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover activities

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements

Maintain proper documentation, reports, and site records

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering

4-10 years of relevant experience in building / industrial / commercial projects

Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ELV systems

Experience in site coordination and execution is mandatory

Exposure to clean room / industrial / pharmaceutical / data center projects (preferred)

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)

Knowledge of BIM / Navisworks / Revit (added advantage)

Good understanding of MEP codes, standards, and best practices

Ability to read and interpret GFC drawings, BOQs, and specifications

Soft Skills

Strong coordination and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Good problem-solving and decision-making ability

Team-oriented with strong site management skills
