This role will see you playing a significant role in the application of advanced Digital Design Technology on projects in India and around the world. More about the role... As BIM MEP Engineer, you will be involved in all project phases and will work predominantly with our Office BIM Lead and with the BIM project teams. Regularly you will engage with the Technical and IT teams. The individual will be an integral part in delivering high quality MEP BIM models and documentation for the team with regards to automation, coding, scripting and Revit API’s.

Required Skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of Revit API, Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, VB
• Comprehensive knowledge of IES, Micro Climate Analysis and Day Light Study
• Assisting Engineering teams with Energy Analysis modelling
• Ability to develop efficient cross-application / cross-team workflows
• Basic skills in Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD
• Great interest in current BIM-related developments, tools and software
• Willingness to autonomously and continuously expand own professional knowledge and skills
• Willingness to actively contribute to the BIM team’s / offices’ knowledge and development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work across all phases of development
• Managing priorities with minimal guidance
• Flexible with regard to working hours and assignments
• Good colleague and a team-player, and yet capable of working independently

Desirable Skills

• Hands-on experience using Revit on Building Services projects
• Good skills in IES, Micro Climate Analysis and Day Light Study
• Good level of BIM / Revit proficiency in order to understand the context of Project / Engineering specific code development
• Good understanding of the successful application of Computational methods for design and project delivery in Building Services industryHas 2-3 years of professional work experience in Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python Scripting

Qualification & Experience

• Has a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Has 3 - 5 years of professional work experience in Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python Scripting

What’s different about doing this role from the standard job requirements, etc.?
Typical daily responsibilities can be expected to include

• Creating Revit API
• Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python Scripting
• Training and Support to the team on new Revit tools developed
• Managing and developing new scripts for the office and train other staff on the developed scripts
• Interacts with other BIM Specialist in practice for knowledge share
• Support and organise training, internal and external, for all technical staff to ensure the office continues to learn and develop new and existing technologies to best serve our evolving product delivery
• Responsible for developing skill set for IES, Micro Climate Analysis and Day Light Study
• Ensuring quality and consistency of scripts/tools and maintain accountability for BIM team delivery and outputs
• Be a go to person for the team for new tools and practices in Digital and Computational Engineering
