We have urgent opening in MEP Engineer (Real Estate)

Job Location: Baner,

Exp-5-7 years of experience in MEP engineering within the real estate or construction industry.

Department: Engineering / Construction

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

Develop MEP system designs and layouts based on building requirements and specifications.

Collaborate with MEP consultants, architects and structural engineers to integrate MEP systems

into the overall building design.

Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and environmental

regulations.

Select appropriate MEP systems and equipment (e.g., HVAC, lighting, plumbing, fire safety, etc.)

based on the project's needs. Need to prepare comparatives of options available and shortlist

products to be installed.

Finalize BOQ and estimates before Execution of works.

Project Management:

Manage the installation of MEP systems during the construction phase, ensuring timely and

budget-compliant execution.

Coordinate with Site engineers contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth execution of

MEP work.

Monitor and supervise the commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as per

check lists & work methodologies prepared.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during the construction phase.

Ensure that all work complies with project specifications, safety standards, and environmental

regulations.

Quality Control and Testing:

Conduct periodical site inspections and quality checks to ensure that the MEP installations meet the

highest standards.

Oversee testing and commissioning of MEP systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems, water systems,

fire alarms).

Review and approve test reports and ensure any necessary adjustments are made to meet required

standards.

Collaboration and Reporting:

Work closely with other departments (e.g., construction, architectural, and civil teams) to ensure

seamless project integration.

Prepare reports on MEP system performance, installation status, and troubleshooting.

Maintenance and Post-Construction Support:

Provide ongoing support and maintenance advice post-construction.

Develop maintenance schedules and guidelines for MEP systems in the completed buildings.

Assist in the training of property management or building maintenance staff on proper MEP system

usage.

Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

Relevant professional certifications (e.g., LEED, PMP) preferred.

Experience:

Experience with large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments is a plus.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Carrier, or similar).

Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to MEP systems.
