The Opportunity:
UST is looking Memory Validation Engineer (Functional & Electrical)
Key Responsibilities:
Execute functional and electrical validation of DDR5 / LPDDR5 memory subsystems.
Validate DRAM features, DIMM behavior and JEDEC specification compliance.
Debug memory initialization routines, MRC (Memory Reference Code) and training flows.
Perform subsystem debug across memory controller, DDR IO and platform interfaces.
Use oscilloscopes and DDR logic analyzers for electrical and signal integrity validation.
Conduct system-level memory validation under varied workloads and stress conditions.
Develop and use Python automation to enhance validation efficiency.
Document debug findings, test results and performance observations.
Required Skills:
Understanding of DRAM architecture and JEDEC DDR5 / LPDDR5 specifications.
Knowledge of DIMMs, memory subsystem behavior and MRC flows
Debug capability for memory controller and DDR IO signals.
Hands-on use of oscilloscope and DDR logic analyzer.
Python programming for automation.
System-level validation experience.
